Location: This is an in-office position located at 8100 Warden Ave.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8:00 - 4:00 (35 hours/week)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Fire Logistics Division to create reports for internal and external clients
  • Design digital signages and publications
  • Provide support to various events during the summer months, such as Emergency Preparedness Day, Firefighter Summer Camp and Fire Station Open Houses
  • Provide general support to various Divisions in their administrative duties

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Enrolled at a recognized post-secondary educational institute and returning to full time studies in the fall
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a busy team environment and deliver on schedule
  • Experienced with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access)
  • Experienced with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Computer programming skill is a plus (SQL, VBA)
