2025 Summer Internship- Application Support Developer

To obtain an internship position with Morguard, successful candidate will meet the following selection criteria.

1. Represent a local college or university or

2. are recommended by an existing Morguard employee.

and/or

3. are a current 3rd or 4th year college or university undergraduate or graduate student, or

4. are returning to attendance at school, college or university after completion of the internship term

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION:

• Enrolled in Information technology or related fields
• Understanding of the enterprise-class application systems and infrastructure
• Knowledge of Process Analysis, Design, and Implementation, Business and Technical requirements, and User Acceptance Testing pertaining to ERP/integration offerings
• Experience in developing, implementing, customizing, deploying .NET solutions
• Demonstrated knowledge of transactional SQL.
• Proficient with Microsoft technology stack (MS Excel, CSV files, Access)
• Experience in the design and development of custom applications using technologies such as HTML, XHTML, CSS, Java, ASP.NET,VB.NET, C#, Python, XML, JavaScript, JSON formatting
• Candidate should be able to troubleshoot issues with data transfer and internal integration platforms using a combination of XML, SQL, ETL and FTP/SFTP.
• Experience working with low code automation tools and API's is a critical skill, with a focus on using, creating, and managing APIs to integrate data sources then enable building micro apps with workflows on the backend.
• Working knowledge with creating and managing Generic API, API testing
• Proficiency in M365, Power Apps, Power Platform, Dataverse are considered an asset
