Job Summary

The Sr. Field Marketing Manager leads the marketing function for the region, supporting sales growth, customer and client experience and stewards the company brand. This position will include leading, coaching and inspiring a team of Unit Marketing Mangers, and operators to achieve key objectives in retail sales, meal plan sales, guest communication, and social media approaches in the Higher Education and Independent school sector.

Now, if you were to come on board as our Sr. Field Marketing Manager, we'd ask you to do the following for us:

  • Consistently exceed assigned "Like for Like" sales targets through the effective execution and management of key initiatives
  • Create and drive compelling sales-building initiatives to outpace targets and leverage your expertise in the areas of:
    • Growing transactions
    • Growing beverage attachment rates
    • Growing basket size
    • Growing average check
    • Growing LFL
  • Lead a team of unit marketing managers, coordinators, and operators in implementing corporate marketing strategies and client-specific programs
  • Exceed execution standards with a focus on speed of service improvements, while maintaining brand standards
  • Ensure operators are supported to execute a rolling 12-month marketing plan in applicable units
  • Become the trusted expert with the organization in "Like for Like" sales improvements and proper brand execution, assisting in the training of new team members and provide consultation when required
  • Own monthly marketing forms by leading live sessions, building content and training assets, coordinating with the field for guest speakers
  • Partner with Marketing and Ops teams to support annual planning and budgeting; help to determine broad-scale fiscal year marketing initiatives, determine budgets, Ops communications, prep material, templates, etc.

  • Bachelor's degree required. Culinary, hospitality or hotel management degree is desirable
  • Marketing experience in a QSR, B2C environment (including product, promotions, price, placement and positioning). B2B experience also beneficial
  • Ability to review sales and marketing performance data, and build action plans and marketing strategies
  • Base understanding of the financial components of contract foodservice and origins of revenue, margin, costs and risks
  • Ability to influence without direct authority, holding standards of new programs high and ensuring field execution
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to adjust content across stakeholders
  • Experience with Canva Enterprise to create and optimize assets and templates, managing users, ensuring platform effectiveness, maintaining brand kits, and providing training and support.
  • Travel 45-60% within Ontario
