The Position:
As the Business Synergy Intern, you will be supporting the identification, execution, tracking and reporting of business synergies between Veolia entities. You will be part of the Synergy Project Management team. In this role, you will have an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals across many functions of the business (ie. commercial, procurement, supply chain) and across the global regions. You will gain exposure supporting these teams and assisting the greater organization in achieving its goals and objectives as an active participant. This position is based in Oakville, ON
Responsibilities:
Synergy Team
* Work directly with the global Synergy PMO team on current program execution & future program planning
• Working with the global teams to identify, capture, track & report synergy opportunities that drive efficiency & profitability.
• Supporting the synergy team to drive programs that enable the business to achieve business synergy targets
* Support other business initiatives as required

Skills:
• Self-motivated, quick to deliver and a team player
• Able to demonstrate a dedication to safety
• Good written and oral communications skills and Ability to effectively present information to project and functional management
• Strong organizational, communication and PC skills are required (in particular spreadsheets & associated tools)
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret common financial reports, and contract documents
