Reporting to: Rochester Heights Community House Coordinator
Type: Casual. 15.00 hours per week, 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
Benefits: 4% in Lieu of vacation
Position start date: As soon as possible

We are Somerset West Community Health Centre (SWCHC), a non-profit, community-governed
organization that serves over 18,000 clients annually. Established in 1978, SWCHC provides a wide range of health care services such as primary health care, health promotion, community development, mental health, and harm reduction.

Job Summary
The Child and Youth Worker will facilitate community based child and youth programs. The Child and Youth Worker will provide educational services, support and advocacy, and participate in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of age and culturally appropriate programs to help meet the needs of children, youth and their families using a capacity building and health promotion framework.
