Duties:
- Assist in pre-engineering site surveys and inspection during construction.
- Design of roads, rail, sewers, watermains and municipal infrastructure projects.
- Help prepare AutoCAD and MicroStation and Revit design drawings.
- Provides office support during the construction stage of projects.
- Assist with quantity calculations and preparing tender documents.
- Collection of design background data from record sources.
- Assist in the preparation of calculations, design drawings and reports related to site servicing and projects.
- Aid the RVA team to ensure quality project delivery to our clients.
- Performs other duties as assigned and relevant to position.
Qualifications:
- The candidate must be currently enrolled as a third- or fourth-year student in the Civil Engineering program.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/MicroStation/Civil3D/Revit is an asset.
- Demonstrates superior communication skills in English, both oral and written.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in an interactive team atmosphere.
- Must have a valid G Class Driver's License and access to a vehicle.
- Civil engineering student at a recognized university.
