What you will do

  • Be involved in the activities pertaining to the integration of radio hardware and software
  • Have an opportunity to learn about engineering in real work environment, and, in particular, what hands-on electrical engineering is all about
  • Gain first-hand insight into transition from engineering studies to professional product development work place
  • Help with data entry and document management, by organizing integration reports, test plans and test results
  • Gain exposure to the engineering labs and engineering tools
  • Participate in simple radio product configuration activities in the lab
  • Participate in simple integration test supervision
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Radio Integration team goals

You will bring

  • Your interest in Engineering field
  • The ability to work in a team as well as independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Your interest in problem analysis and hardware lab
  • Be comfortable using a Windows based computer environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (English)

This position is based in Ottawa. Expectation is for student to be in the office 5 days/week (100%) with a 60% minimum in some situation based on manager's requirement.

Other requirements

  • Must commit to participating in the full seven-week program. (This means that you will not be able to take time off for summer school, vacations, or other commitments.)
  • Should have an anticipated average of at least 80%.
  • Must be enrolled in 11th and 12th grade Math and Science courses as of School year Fall 2025.

  • Proficiency in English is required.

This position reports to Manager - Product Integration 1.
