Your role on our team:

The Marketing Intern provides administrative and creative support to the marketing team with the overall goal of nurturing leads and converting prospects into sales.

In this role, you will:

• Performs administrative tasks such as processing invoices, collecting and entering data for reports, proofreading creative assets (emails, website content, brochures, etc.) and ordering supplies.
• Assists in the creation of valuable and engaging content for the website, social and other digital channels, considering SEO and A/B testing opportunities.
• Research competition and provides reporting, i.e. model homes & sales centres, pricing and specifications.
• Performs light graphic design production tasks such as updating header graphic images on emails or webpages, internal posters, adding/updating text on images, image re-sizing, etc.
• Assists in the organizing of promotional events (traditional or digital) and attends them to facilitate their success.
• Provides feedback and insights to the marketing team in reporting and presentations.
• Assist in marketing activities (i.e. social media posting, web updates, email deployment, event coordination).
• Liaises with external suppliers - agencies, designers, and internal operating groups.
• Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.
• We would like you to have:
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience and knowledge of best practices on social media platforms such as Facebook, Tik-Tok, and Instagram.
• Basic coding knowledge.
• Experience working with a content management system.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with extremely strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Preference for Marketing or Communications University or College Students. Customer service experience or experience working in a marketing agency is considered an asset.
