What you will do
• Support integrates, and test solutions in observability space.
• Be self-motivated and focused in addressing stakeholder and customer needs.
• Understand and engage with open-source related technologies, projects, and foundations.
• Develop a strong and respected presence in project / scrum team.
You will bring
• Currently High School candidate.
• Programming experience with strong core proficiency in either Java, Go & Python.
• Knowledge of DevOps technologies such as Jenkins, Spinnaker, Gitlab, ELK.
• Curious about of Observability, service mesh & cloud security.
• Eager to learn about product development and agile methodologies.
• Awareness of relevant open-source community norms and behaviours.
• Inspire to contribute to open source or inner source communities.
• Strong verbal and written communication. While representing Ericsson as a developer, a focus is placed on high emotional intelligence and communication skills.
• The proven track record to work collaboratively in a team-setting, working in a multi-cultural & international environment.
• Be proficient in English, written and spoken
This position is based in Ottawa. Expectation is for student to be in the office 5 days/week (100%) with a 60% minimum in some situation based on manager's requirement.
Other requirements
- Must commit to participating in the full seven-week program. (This means that you will not be able to take time off for summer school, vacations, or other commitments.)
- Should have an anticipated average of at least 80%.
- Must be enrolled in 11th and 12th grade Math and Science courses as of School year Fall 2025.

This position reports to Manager of System DevOps.
