About this opportunity

We are now looking for a High School Product Support CO-OP to join our team in RTE CX TS AMER in Ottawa. As a member of the team, you will support senior team members working on complex customer issues. The primary objectives include ensuring the smooth integration of our products into customer networks, and promptly addressing any arising issues. This role will give excellent opportunity to be exposed to various functions across the different engineering units. You will support and learn alongside senior engineers and developers who are experts in their respective fields to accomplish your goals and create continuous improvements for the company.

What you will do

· Design and implement tools to analyze features of radio products.

· Write scripts in Python, Perl, or Java to support data collection and analysis.

· Optimize tools and script efficiency and accuracy using Python or Perl.

· Develop interactive Power BI dashboards to analyze trends and identify issues in North American radio markets.

· Use data visualization techniques to highlight key performance metrics for better decision-making.

· Implement filters, KPIs, and automation to streamline data insights and improve reporting accuracy.

· Create real-time monitoring dashboards to track radio performance and incorporate a historical timeline view.

· Ensure dashboards support lab reproduction activities by providing accurate real-time insights for troubleshooting and testing.

· Collaborate with engineering teams to automate data processing and reporting tasks, reducing manual workload.

To be successful in the role you must be:

· Comfortable writing and testing software code.

· Self-motivated, driven, results oriented.

· Ability to work in teams and support your colleagues.

· Experience with programming and scripting such as Python.

· Comfortable speaking up about work related tasks and describing ongoing progress.

· Innovative, adaptive, and able to work well in a dynamic and complex environment.

This position is based in Ottawa. Expectation is for student to be in the office 5 days/week (100%) with a 60% minimum in some situation based on manager's requirement.

Other requirements

  • Must commit to participating in the full seven-week program. (This means that you will not be able to take time off for summer school, vacations, or other commitments.)
  • Should have an anticipated average of at least 80%.
  • Must be enrolled in 11th and 12th grade Math and Science courses as of School year Fall 2025.

  • Proficiency in English is required.

This position reports to Head of Technical Support AMER.
