JOB OVERVIEW
Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven professional to join our team in the role of Inspections Engineer.

Reporting to the Manager of HTED, this position is responsible for to perform detailed inspections of station components to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Review and interpret inspection results, including Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) data, to identify issues, trends, and potential risks.
• Ensure all inspections comply with industry standards, provincial and federal regulations, and OPG's internal policies.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams during outages to inspect and assess equipment, ensuring readiness for continued operation.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, highlighting findings, recommendations, and corrective actions required to address deficiencies.
• Work with engineering and maintenance teams to prioritize and coordinate inspection and maintenance activities.
• Continuously update knowledge on inspection technologies, methods, and best practices, including advancements in NDE techniques relevant to OPG's operations.

QUALIFICATIONS
• 4 Year Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering experience
• Proficiency in P6 (Primavera) scheduling software is a strong asset.
• Project experience in coordinating schedules and managing project timelines
• Knowledge or experience with Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) techniques.
• Experience working with engineering firms is an advantage.
• Familiarity with CANDU reactor systems is highly desirable.
• Candidate must be a fully licensed engineer in the province of Ontario, or be eligible to be licensed in the Province of Ontario

The base salary range considers many factors including, but not limited to experience, education, and training, including any collective agreement requirements for union represented positions.
