The team at Altima Port Hope Dental Centre located in Port Hope, Ontario is looking for a passionate, hard-working Patient Care Coordinator on a Temporary Full-Time basis to cover a maternity leave until January 2026. The ideal Patient Care Coordinator for our team will be highly motivated to facilitate the patient's office experience in being seamless and ensure the patient leaves well informed and prepared for their next appointment.

We are located in beautiful Port Hope, Ontario overlooking the Ganaraska River. Home to many movie sets including It! and the famous Capitol Hill Theatre.

SCHEDULE:

  • 32 Hours Weekly
  • Mon, Tues, Wed and Friday. One Sat every 2 months.
  • Temporary contract Feb 2025 to Jan 2026

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Dental office administrator / receptionist is required or a combination of diploma in administration plus1-2 years administrative experience.
  • Previous experience as a Patient Care Coordinator is necessary
  • Proficiency in MS Office is preferred (MS Excel and MS Outlook )
  • Experience with Dentrix is highly preferred
  • Engaging personality in making patients feel welcomed at our clinic
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
  • Customer service mindset
