This position is responsible for supporting the lines of business across the Regional Services Division (RSD). The successful candidate will work closely with the RSD management team and VP to ensure the effective and efficient operations of the division. The ideal candidate for this role is a resourceful self-starter who is highly organized and results-oriented.

Reporting to: Director, Regional Business Services
• Support divisional planning, budget and forecasting, risk management, goal-setting processes, including reporting on progress against goals
• Lead projects, including the management of project plans, requirements gathering, timelines, deliverables, budget, and change management components
• Oversee divisional processes and identify areas for improvement to ensure efficient and effective operations within the district
• Collect, analyze, and interpret business data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data across multiple sources
• Cross-divisional collaboration to ensure alignment of data and reporting strategies
• Establish methods for testing business applications and create templates for reports used to monitor effectiveness
• Oversight of divisional budget information, including development, trend analysis, forecasting, and procurement activities
• Lead the budget process cycle, as well as the monthly update of information for district management teams and VP
• Collaborate with district, regional, and cross-divisional partners to identify opportunities to support and enhance client services, staff engagement, and administrative efficiency
• Prepare divisional reports for the Vice President, Senior Executive, and the LAO Board
• Provide advice on staff relations, including labour relations, staffing strategies, duties and responsibilities of positions
• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (Business, Communication, Public Administration) and/or minimum of 4 years combined education or experience
• Understanding of Legal Aid Ontario's business and operations, Board governance structure and how each interacts with the other
• Knowledge of Legal Aid Services Act (LASA) and Rules, LAO Business and Strategic Plans
• Project Management experience, PMP is an asset
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
• Budgeting and financial management experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Extensive working knowledge of MS Office
• Proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, and database management systems is an asset
• Aptitude in creative problem-solving
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Professional, positive, and supportive team player
• Fluency in French and other languages, in addition to English, is considered an asset.
