Your opportunity


The IT Department provides team members with the tools required to perform their work with the goal to improve the efficiency, productivity and profitability of the Firm. The IT Support Specialist is a highly valued member of our IT team. This role is suited to those who thrive on delivering maximum satisfaction in user experience. In this role, you will provide:

  • Technical support and setup of software\cloud, network, laptops and virtual servers
  • Documentation of standard procedures
  • Tracking of inventory, tickets and requests
  • Development and delivery of system integration and continuous improvement projects


Your major responsibilities

  • Technical support in areas such as equipment installation and configuration, hardware and software support, onboarding\offboarding users
  • Server administration functions such as hardware & software maintenance and upgrades, user account setup, email administration, and performance monitoring
  • Support at the desk side and remotely for Microsoft Office Suite (Windows 11), Entra ID, Troubleshooting and root cause investigation of hardware, software, network and cloud tickets
  • Testing and training users on new technology
  • Tracking of inventory movement, tickets and requests.
  • Triage of incoming support tickets\requests.

  • Demonstrated ability to solve practical technical problems
  • Effective and clear communication (verbal and written)
  • Organizational skills for prioritizing demands, work flow and meeting deadlines
  • Skills and experience with supporting Microsoft 365 Infrastructure - Azure AVD, Networking, Entra ID, Office 365, Intune, MDM (iOS & Android)
  • Knowledge and experience with PowerShell, SQL and specialized accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks/QBO, Sage, Xero, CaseWare, TaxPrep) is an asset.
  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, networking or equivalent/related experience (e.g. CompTIA A+, Security+, Network+ , CCNA, MCSA/MCSE)


Work environment:


  • In person position
  • 10 hours a month for scheduled off-hours maintenance
  • Participation in our paid, IT On-Call program, with rotating on-call shifts to ensure around-the-clock protection for our systems
