Position Summary
The successful candidate will support the clinical research activities of the Schroeder Pain Assessment and Rehabilitation Research Centre (SPARC) activities at Toronto Rehabilitation Institute - University Centre (550 University Ave, Toronto).
SPARC is a clinical-research interdisciplinary program for the investigation of pain and chronic pain disorders involving research with backgrounds in physical medicine and rehabilitation, biomedical engineering, neurophysiology, clinical epidemiology and kinesiology. We are looking for a motivated individual who wishes to engage and lead innovative and translational clinical research endeavours with a focus on improving patient health outcomes. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for leading clinical research that can be translated and used as a foundation for developing evidence-based clinical practice models. The postdoctoral fellow will collaborate closely with clinicians including physiatrists, chiropractors, physiotherapists, psychologists, physiologists and biomedical engineers. The postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for the coordination of multiple research studies from its inception to its completion
