About this opportunity:

Location - Toronto, CA

January 2025 session

Duration: 4, 8 or 12 months

This is a project management tool implementation and process improvement role through use of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Analytics that includes project planning activities in our Cloud Software and Services Core Networks Project Office based in Mississauga location. The ideal candidate will have had experience planning and supporting project teams with AI/ML and database management and will have solid communication skills. Technical writing capabilities as well as self-regulation skills will be key factors that will ensure the success of this placement.

What you will do:

This assignment is designed to improve existing processes and suggests improvements through automation. Use of tools like Microsoft Azure, Python scripts, JIRA and resources planning tools/spreadsheets/PowerBI/Power-Automate, the individual will work with local and international teams to secure and track inputs to plan automation initiatives sprints, enter user stories, source inputs and provide updates to AI/automation programs. Some initial efforts towards this initiative have already taken place, so this is a continuation assignment. The candidate will also participate in the live business process in a project coordinator capacity, and work with management to implement improvement gates.

The skills you bring:

  • Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in either Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering
  • Previous work assignments as a Coop or paid positions or academic projects related to Automation, Data Analysis, Software deployment and or Project deliveries.
  • Awareness and/or practitioner of AI/ML models, Microsoft office (i.e. excel pivot etc.), scripting or coding related to automation, ability to self-regulate, solid communication skills, Strong presentation skills.
