CONTRACT – 12 months
The Office of the Integrity Commissioner is seeking an analytical, tactful, and highly organized Senior Expense Review Officer to conduct compliance reviews of travel, meal, and hospitality expenses under the Public Sector Expenses Review Act, 2009 and the Cabinet Ministers’ and Opposition Leaders’ Expense Review and Accountability Act, 2002, for public entities and for ministers, opposition leaders and their respective staff.
This is a 12-month contract.
Sound judgment and attention to detail are essential in this non-partisan role to identify and analyze claims that are unique and complex in nature. You must have an eye for accuracy and spotting trends while reviewing expense reports. The key duties are as follows:
You must possess an investigative streak, superior communication skills, sound judgment, critical thinking skills and can work independently. You are comfortable working with digital and confidential material. You foster positive working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
Complementing your diploma/university degree in business administration, accounting or related field, or 2 to 3 years of equivalent work experience, you have strong time management skills, initiative, and a flair for getting things done efficiently. You have a good understanding of the fundamental principles of the Public Sector Expenses Review Act, 2009 and the Cabinet Ministers’ and Opposition Leaders’ Expense Review and Accountability Act, 2002. You possess above-average skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams, and are fully conversant in digital administrative functions.
Salary Range Minimum: 71,563.00 - $100,052.00 per year
