What is the opportunity?

As part of the RBC Wealth Management Global Content & Digital Marketing team, the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing will deliver marketing that supports our global wealth management business objectives and the needs of our clients and prospects. This role helps support and execute RBC Wealth Management's digital marketing strategy in support of, and in alignment with, an integrated view of our global digital channel experience.

What will you do?

  • Support campaign planning, execution and management on paid, owned and earned channels.
  • Provide guidance in identifying differentiated regional strategies focused on display advertising, SEO, SEM, paid and organic social to nurture the client journey.
  • Support continuous global competitive analysis of digital marketing initiatives, identification of white space in the market and recommendations on subject matter that best aligns with business strategy.
  • Help manage assigned budget and agency relationships in association with approved channel activities.
  • Support the digital amplification of global thought leadership initiatives, working closely with internal stakeholders, content producers, corporate communications and external partners to ensure deadlines are met and execution is of the highest quality.
  • Support monthly, quarterly and annual metrics tracking, benchmarking, analysis and reporting on campaigns with a focus on leveraging data-driven insights to drive leads, consideration and brand awareness.
  • Write engaging copy, manage organic social posting and triage community engagement on RBC Wealth Management's owned social channels.
  • Provide centralized social media support (e.g. platform management, onboarding, governance) to the RBC Wealth Management lines of business.

What do you need to succeed:

Must-have:

  • Minimum of five years of work experience in a corporate digital marketing or digital agency environment. Global experience is an asset.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional and measurable results through digital marketing efforts.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to juggle competing tasks.
  • A resourceful and optimistic approach to problem-solving, collaboration and managing
    relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation and project management skills and the ability to execute independently.
  • Ability to evaluate and change priorities daily and to perform efficiently within a fast-paced team environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration to social, Google Ads, Google Analytics, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn ad managers and social media community management platforms.
  • Knowledge of ad and website analytics platforms and the ability to analyze data and articulate findings and data-drive recommendations to stakeholders.
  • In-depth understanding of SEO and optimization best practices for web and social.

Nice-to-have

  • Understanding of financial institutions and products as they relate to high-net-worth individuals.
  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Experience with Hearsay Social, Sprinklr or other social media management platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g. Wrike, Jira).
  • Canadian Securities Course.
  • Understanding of French an asset.
