Student Business Office (Job ID: 9354)
Non-clinical based summer positions are available for university/college students. We are seeking individuals who are customer focused; team players; communicators; caring and respectful.
The student, Business Office will be responsible for performing a broad range of administrative and clerical duties in the Finance department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing customer service - front line staff servicing patients and hospital staff
- Assisting with depositing and posting payment transactions
- Administrative duties - data entry
- Maintaining up-to-date filing and document management systems
- Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have completed at least one year of university/college and returning to school on a full-time basis in September 2025
- Must be 18 year of age at time of hire.
- Strong organization skills with demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work with efficient turnaround time.
- Demonstrated excellence in problem solving, and interpersonal competence and critical thinking.
- Strong customer service orientation with proven ability to interact with others.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a demanding environment.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of the Mission and Values of Unity Health Toronto
- Excellent record of attendance and punctuality.
