Qualifications
• Graduate of an approved program for Health Information Management.
• Member in good standing with the Canadian College of Health Information Management
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CA/CCI coding.
• Excellent computer skills are essential.
• Ability to handle confidential information with tact and diplomacy.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deal with a variety of people and operate efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience in DAD and NACRS coding.
