Qualifications
-A full time position is available to provide Social Work service to clients in the Mental Health Individual Therapy Program at Woodstock Hospital.
-Provide observation, care and treatment to individuals and families
experiencing mental health issues/concerns including youth and eating disorders.
-Strong ability to assess, treat, and, facilitate transitions with clients by providing best practice psychotherapy/counselling services to individuals and families
-Have training and experience in evidenced based therapies including, but not limited to, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, CBT & DBT utilizing a trauma informed lens.
-To provide backup Social Work services within the department when required.
-Able to maintain timely and accurate statistical records of direct and indirect care activities including Measurement Based care platforms for departmental, hospital and Ministry purposes.
-Assist with MSW/BSW student supervision as needed
-Have a Master's Degree in Social Work and are a member of the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
-Have a minimum of 5 years of individual and family Mental Health & Addictions Social Work experience
-Ability to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary hospital and community team environment
Expectation to see six patients in each scheduled workday
-Satisfactory vulnerable person's sector criminal background check
