Qualifications
• A part time position is available to provide Social Work service to clients in the Mental Health Day Hospital Group Therapy Program at Woodstock Hospital.
• Ability to plan, implement and evaluate group therapy programs for inpatients and outpatients dealing with moderate to severe mental health issues.
• Ability to engage in a variety of therapy delivery models including in person and virtual.
• Strong ability to clinically assess and develop treatment plans
• Group therapy facilitation & co-facilitation required.
• Able to maintain timely and accurate statistical records of direct and indirect care activities for departmental, hospital and ministry purposes.
• To provide backup Social Work services within the department when required.
• Assist with MSW/BSW student supervision as needed.
• Have a Master’s Degree in Social Work and are a member of the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
• Have a minimum of 3 years of Mental Health Social Work experience.
• Have training and experience in evidenced based therapies including but not limited to CBT& DBT.
• Have the ability to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary hospital and community team environment.
• Commitment to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence.
• Satisfactory vulnerable person’s sector criminal background check.
