As an Inside Wholesaler Intern, Individual Insurance, you will proactively develop new relationships and enhance existing relationships with insurance advisors in a defined territory by giving added value advice with the goal of increasing the sales of RBC Insurance through the individual brokerage channel.
What will you do?
- Partner with Sales Consultant and inside sales consultants to establish a strategic business plan for the territory with defined sales targets
- Proactively contact insurance advisors to gain information and insight into their practices
- Provide insight and sales ideas related to the insurance industry & system training (BIC, Illustrations, etc)
- Analyze and identify sales and cross selling opportunities in RBC Insurance's block of business
What will you need to succeed?
Must have
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in French & English (oral and written)
- Professional customer service skills and a talent for listening, establishing rapport and finding the right solution
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Digital literacy across a broad range of services (i.e. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.) with above average typing skills, internet and computer navigation.
- Requires fluency in French and English to serve our clients in the community with English speaking needs. To support business operations outside of Quebec (with RBC's national office in Ontario).
