About the role

Job Title: Marketing Partnership Strategic Advisor - 9-Month Temporary Assignment

Job Description: We are looking for a talented and experienced Marketing Partnership Strategic Advisor to join our team for a temporary 9-month assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing national strategic relationships with various partners to support our company's growth objectives and digital ambitions. This role requires an in-depth understanding of partnership dynamics, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders. This position reports directly to the Director of App Adoption at Intact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Development: Identify, prospect, and establish new national strategic partnerships that support our objectives and vision.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing partners, ensuring they are satisfied and see value in collaborating with us. Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise with partners, finding quick and effective solutions.
  • Contract Negotiations: Negotiate the terms of partnership agreements, ensuring they are mutually beneficial and aligned with business objectives and internal requirements.
  • Internal Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, and IT, to ensure effective implementation of partnership initiatives.
  • Performance Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of partnerships using key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify growth opportunities.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on the status of partnerships and the performance to management.
  • Innovation and Trends: Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, proactively bringing new and innovative ideas to improve partnership portfolio, relationships and outcomes.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, management, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of proven experience in business development, partnership management or a similar role.
  • Experience in procurement, contract negotiation and contract management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Intellectual curiosity and goal-oriented, constantly seeking new knowledge and ways to achieve excellence.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
