The Lac La Ronge Indian Band's Education Department is now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 academic year, to fill the following Full-TimeTerm position based out of Sally Ross School in Hall Lake, SK:

Grade 7-8 Teacher

The suitable candidates will possess the following qualifications:
• Bachelor of Education degree and a Saskatchewan Professional A teaching certificate or a provisional professional A teaching certificate;
• Strong classroom management skills;
• Ability to teach students of varying abilities;
• Use motivational skills and strategies to encourage students to learn and keep them engaged;
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to instruct and educate students
• Possess technology skills and work with software programs (power point, google classroom, Microsoft teams);
• Strong time management skills;
• Teaching experience at the elementary level is an asset;
• Cross - Cultural experience is an asset;
• On-line teaching experience an asset;
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License;
• Must be able to provide verification of previous teaching experience (if applicable);
• Must be able to provide a satisfactory Driver's Abstract, Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening.
