The Saskatchewan Health Authority, Moose Jaw is looking for a psychiatrist to join our Mental Health team in a contracted locum capacity. Flexible options of a 8 month or 1 year contract with the option of extending /or convert to a permanent position. You would be working with an excellent team based group that includes psychiatrists and other Mental Health professionals. This Locum position offers clinical work, in-patient consultations and emergency room coverage. On-call responsibilities are shared between the three psychiatrists. Office space and support staff are provided by the Region.
Relocation allowance available.
Successful candidates must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS). The candidate will hold certification or be eligible for certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC). Applicants will also hold ACLS certification and must have current Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage. Applicants must also have a valid Saskatchewan driver's license.
This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family centered care.
