Position Summary
As a member of the Fire Operations team, City of Regina Firefighters protect the lives and property of citizens by conducting prevention services, providing fire safety education, combating, and extinguishing fires and working in other emergency situations under a variety of conditions frequently involving considerable hazard. In this position you may also be assigned to the Emergency Communications Centre as a Firefighter Dispatcher.
Note: Shift work including weekends and statutory holidays is required.

Candidates will be screened on the following criteria:
*Please note that at this time, we will also accept proof of successful completion of Primary Care Paramedic and a restricted license with the ability to obtain the COPR during the probationary period.
*If you have acquired the York Firefighter Fitness Assessment Certificate (no more than six months old) you may submit this along with your application. If you do not have this certificate, physical testing has been scheduled into the recruitment process.
