Job Description: Provides personal care and activities of daily living for clients/patients/residents to encourage optimum level of functioning. Supports clients/patients/residents in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs.

Education:

  • High School or Post secondary student interested in Health Care or Geriatric Care

  • Compassionate and resident-focused approach
  • Accurate documentation process

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, supporting nursing staff and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
  • Being flexible and able to adjust changing situations, such as fluctuating resident needs or staffing challenges
  • Familiarity with basic nursing procedures
