Job Description: The AIMS System Navigator Student will join our on-the-ground support team during the rollout of a new Time Validation and Scheduling, ensuring front-line staff understand core functions, feel supported in their day-to-day operations, and receive friendly, timely assistance across various healthcare facilities. The student will help frontline staff log in, navigate the system, and perform basic tasks such as viewing their schedules, submitting time for validation and setting notification preferences along with other tasks that may be assigned.

This position offers exposure to a digital healthcare transformation initiative, change management practices, and the opportunity to contribute to workflow improvements that directly impact patient care and support healthcare staff in this exciting change.

  • Be on-site at assigned healthcare facilities to provide direct support to staff during the go-live and support phase.
  • Assist end users with navigating to log in screens on both corporate and personal devices (computer & mobile).
  • Show users how to download Chrome onto their phones and bookmark the MyConnection log in pages.
  • Guide users on basic navigation in the system, including viewing their schedules, validating time worked, setting notification preferences and submitting leaves
  • Support on the ground team in coordination and organization of information sessions to end users

Education

  • Must be enrolled in a Post-Secondary Institute
  • Grade 12

Licenses

  • Must have a valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the province

Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Provide clear and friendly instructions to users with varying levels of digital literacy.
  • Document any challenges and provide them to support teams.
  • Be a champion of the change to promote confidence and comfort with the new system.
  • Participate in online orientation and training sessions before deployment
  • Troubleshoot common login and usability issues and escalate more complex issues to support teams on the ground

Competencies:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new system
  • Patient, approachable and professional in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience in customer service, help desk support or healthcare settings is an asset.
  • Ability to explain processes to employees with different technical skill levels, using clear, empathetic language
  • Comfortable working independently without extensive supervision
  • Ability to work in a in a team environment
  • Must be a motivated self-starter with excellent organization and time management skills.

  • Location to be determined. Applications will be accepted throughout the province of Saskatchewan.
  • Successful applicants will be expected to work full time hours from May-September with the ability to continue casually in the fall.
