About the Branch:

The Infrastructure Development Branch (IDB) manages the planning, designing and construction for numerous types of infrastructure projects for the territory. IDB supports infrastructure development initiatives for First Nations, municipalities and unincorporated Yukon through project management and fund management.

About the Position:

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for preparing, coordinating and monitoring the accounts payable and accounts receivable function for the Infrastructure Development Branch, while maintaining appropriate internal accounting controls.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience in the accounting field performing accounts receivable, accounts payable and/or reconciliation functions
  • Experience using financial software programs
  • Experience in the application of policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Coursework in Business Administration or a related discipline would be considered an asset

Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may be equally considered.
