Student Support Services provides support to students throughout Yukon to allow students to meet their personal potential. Student Support Services, Yukon Education values inclusion, acceptance and safety.

Educational Psychologists provide a broad range of psycho educational services to students in the public-school system across the Yukon including consultation, assessments, intervention, professional learning support and assistance with program development for students. This position also participates as a member of a multidisciplinary team to assist schools, parents and caregivers in supporting students with exceptional learning needs.

Essential Qualifications

  • Master's degree in educational psychology or clinical psychology
  • Experience in the administration and interpretation of level C assessments and provision of recommendations for school-aged clients
  • Full or provisional registration in a College of Psychologists in Canada
  • Experience working in a school environment
  • Recent experience providing consultation to students, parents and staff within a public school system would be an asset

Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

Additional information

Conditions of Employment:

  • RCMP Security Clearance, including Vulnerable Sector
  • Valid class 5 driver's license

Job Requirements:

  • This position works onsite in an office environment
  • Travel throughout the Yukon communities
